Platform for discussion of reform projects
The “Personnel Reserve” campaign is launching a platform for discussing draft reform proposals with the opportunity to join the team of reformers.
You can explore reform projects prepared by Belarusian experts on the website edu.pr-belarus.org in the “Reforms” section. We invite everyone to comment and take part in the discussion, because it is up to us to decide what kind of country we want to live in. If you care about the sectors in which you have experience, expertise, or plan to develop professionally, you are invited to actively participate on the platform, where you can not only share your views on reforms but also join the team of reformers. The campaign team will contact authors of the most relevant and insightful comments.
Commenting is secure; reform drafts and comments are visible only to campaign participants. If you wish to take part in the discussion, join via https://pr-belarus.org/be/
The following reform projects have already been published and are open for discussion:
Police reform concept, which is expected to lead to:
🔹 a change in the role of law enforcement agencies
🔹 ensuring public order and legality
🔹 strengthening public trust
🔹 eliminating the possibility of using the police for political purposes
Transition to a parliamentary system of governance, which should contribute to:
🔹 real separation of powers
🔹 increased accountability and transparency of government
🔹 development of a multi-party system and equal conditions for all political forces
More reform concepts will soon be published, including healthcare reform and local self-government reform.
