Roundtable on “Reforming Education Governance in Belarus”

December has been a very busy month for study visits by participants of the “Personnel Reserve.” Last week in Vilnius, another important event concluded — a roundtable discussion.

The event brought together highly motivated and engaged participants.

Attendees visited the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, where they met with Chancellor Julius Lukošius, who presented directions for the development of education in Lithuania. They also took part in a seminar titled “Management in Higher Education” led by Professor Christian Schaich from the Centre for East European and International Studies. In addition, they discussed “Key ideas and approaches to developing an education concept,” a “roadmap for the transition period in higher and school education,” and examples of higher education development for a New Belarus.
