Pavel Latushko, Representative of the United Transitional Cabinet for the transition of power, has addressed Belarusian officials.
“I'm not calling on you to resign or to publicly declare opposition to Lukashenka’s policies. I understand that today this could mean a prison sentence, and not everyone is ready for such consequences. But you can leave your positions after your contracts expire.
Today, those officials who have not yet become complicit in the regime’s crimes may register for the ‘Personnel Reserve for a New Belarus’ — a training program for those who will ensure the functioning of the state apparatus during a transition period and implement reforms.
