Launch of the lecture series “Special Course: Path to a Democratic Belarus”

At the end of October, a lecture series titled “Special Course: Path to a Democratic Belarus” will begin for participants of the “Personnel Reserve” campaign.

Active participation in the course will help participants better understand how different state systems function and what steps are required for a transition to democratic governance.

Schedule and lecture topics:

🔺 Types of state systems: presidential, authoritarian, and parliamentary systems
Lecturer: Volha Drobysz, PhD in Law, Doctor of Law (Lithuania)
📅 29 and 31 October, 18:00–19:30

🔺 Local self-government and decentralisation of power
Lecturer: Sviatlana Kul, coordinator of the Belarusian Academy, professor
📅 4 and 5 November, 18:00–19:30

🔺 Economic reforms in transition economies
Lecturer: Syarhei Chaly, Belarusian independent economist, analyst, journalist
📅 7 and 8 November, 18:00–19:30

🔺 “E-government and digitalisation of public administration”
Lecturer: Maryna Sakalova, PhD in History
📅 14 and 15 November, 18:00–19:30

The lectures will be held online via Zoom Webinar.
