Lecture Series on Germany’s System of State, Local, and Supranational Governance
Want to understand how Germany works from the inside?
A unique opportunity is available for participants of the Personnel Reserve initiative to explore Germany’s system of state, local, and supranational governance through online lectures and an educational visit to the country.
As part of cooperation with German partners, an educational program is being prepared in two parts:
🔹 Online lectures (19.11–04.12.2025)
An introduction to how public administration and local self-government function in Germany at the federal, state (Länder), and municipal levels. The series also covers how the European Union influences these processes. The lectures will be delivered by German experts via Zoom, with interpretation provided.
🔹 Educational visit to Germany (first half of 2026)
An opportunity to observe the system in practice — meetings, site visits, and real-life examples of how public institutions operate. Participation will be based on a selection process, and completing the online lecture series is a required condition.
The program is available exclusively to participants of the Personnel Reserve initiative.
