Study Visits to Germany and Belgium

10 March, 2026

Educational visits to Germany and Belgium have taken place, organized by the Personnel Reserve initiative for selected participants.

These visits provided an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of how European institutions, local self-government, and political decision-making mechanisms function in these countries. The programs were intensive and highly informative.

In Germany, participants became familiar with the work of a regional parliament during a visit to a Landtag and held meetings with German politicians and representatives of public institutions. The discussions covered integration policy and minority rights, political decision-making mechanisms, challenges at the local level, as well as systems of public financial and administrative oversight.

In Belgium, meetings and discussions focused on the functioning of European institutions and their interaction with Belarusian democratic forces. Participants also attended the “8+100” Belarus Cross-Party Forum and held a series of meetings with European politicians and representatives of EU institutions.

Such exchanges contribute to a better understanding of how modern democratic systems operate and what solutions may be relevant for the future of Belarus. They also form part of the long-term strategy of the Personnel Reserve to prepare a new generation of responsible professionals and civic leaders.
